Today is our 44th wedding anniversary.  We toasted our years of happiness with water in a canteen.  After leaving Bremerton mid-morning, we went south and caught I-5, got off at Hwy 12 E and headed back across Washington, mid-state going east.  Nice scenery, but a long driving day.  We found a spot to pull off and sleep amidst acres and acres of wheat fields.  High, rolling plateau, a magical spot.  The sunset on the golden wheat was really nice.  There was no one else around for miles.  The solitude was delicious.
