Slept last night at William Kent Campground just outside Tahoe City.  Realized we weren't packed appropriately for putting items into a bear box quickly.  We'll have to work on it.  Had coffee and pastries this morning at a little gourmet bakery/grocery in Tahoe City.  Met "Mr. Tahoe", a tour guide who was very personable.  Drove past Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe--a gorgeous place with a big waterfall.  
Met with Kit and Cory and dogs Jake and Dakota.  We'll be pet sitting these sweet dogs for the next 3 weeks.  Took them for a walk with Kit.  Joined Ahler fam at their hotel.  Ate dinner together at South of North Brewing Company (they had live music), then slept at their hotel.
