October 17-24   Santa Monica

This week we are checking out Hannah's family's new place.  They moved closer to Hannah's work and eliminated their big highway commute each day.  Coen is loving kindergarten and tells me he is learning to read.  He already knows three sight words.  Ruthie attends preschool and is so happy to finally be going to "school".  Both are also learning to swim.  The new house is close enough to Coen's school that they all walk over there each morning to drop him off.  I'm so happy for the quality and convenience of their new situation.  We followed Hannah around for a few days to learn the routine, and now we are taking the kids everywhere they are supposed to go while Hannah and Darian attend a wedding in San Francisco this weekend.  It is good to be back with them all again.
