During the next 3 weeks, Dave and I were both persistently ill.  Hannah and Darian helped us walk the dogs.  We went to Urgent Care and got meds.  Hannah took me to the ER at one point because my blood oxygen level was low and worrisome.  Dave and I both had two or three COVID tests during that time, but always tested negative. We finally decided that allergies to all the trees plus sensitivity to the altitude were causing all our problems.

During this time we sorted through our van equipment and got rid of multiple items.  Besides excess kitchen items and OTC drugstore products that we decided we didn't need, we both went through our clothes and discarded a big bag each.  Eventually we took a load of stuff to the Tahoe dump.

As we neared the date for our departure from Tahoe, John and Laura came to visit the Ahler fam and we began to feel well enough to visit with them and take part in some family dinners.  We had a wonderful time hanging out together.
